The Stanley Hotel

We recently spent a night at the famous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. The hotel was the first in the U.S. to operate on electricity, but it is more famously known as being the inspiration for Stephen King's movie "The Shining"- spooky! Anyway, going to visit the Stanley Hotel has not been a top priority but when it popped up on GroupOn a couple of months ago, Andy decided it was time for us to go check it out. Thankfully, Andy killed all the ghosts that are said to live in the hotel so our overnight stay was relaxing and ghost free.
